What you'll need:
- A candle
- Your broken lipstick (This works better with darker and brighter colors)
- A large metal spoon
- Vaseline
- Something to light your candle with
- A toothpick
- Something to put your balm in (A small screw top container works best for this, but if you don't have that you can use an old chapstick container, etc.
Fist put an equal amount of vaseline and lipstick in your metal spoon. Next light your candle and melt the vaseline and lipstick over the candle. Do not put your spoon directly in the flames, or ash will gather on the bottom of the spoon. If you do it's okay just scrub the spoon with a pot scrubber to get the ash off after you're done. Once the mixture is melted stir with the toothpick to make sure there are no clumps in the liquid. Then carefully blow out the candle and pour your new lip stain into the container. Make sure your container is empty before you start this project, trying to take chapstick out of the container while holding hot lipstick is really stressful. Then stick your lipstain in the freezer for a few minutes so it can solidify! Take it out of the freezer and you are done! You have a wonderful new lip stain! Store in a cool dry place.
